Truly Asia

I've went back to Malaysia over the weekends to visit my relatives. Haven't been back for 2 years and well, nothing much has changed. That zinc hut now has water heater, a shower head and a computer and purifier for the water tap.

See, I stay in this place call Batu Bahat. The standard of living is no where near Singapore's. Street light isn't a common sight. My aunty attempted to teach me parallel parking by this huge, pebble-filled car park by the night market. However, Malaysia being Malaysia, the cars are parked in random positions. My dad sat in the car while I drove and he gave a thumb up as he experienced the swerving manual car , in and out of the curvy course. VROOM ! I bet he didn't know where I was going as well. Trees appear like as though they were spawned by some program. The sprout at random positions!

Okay, I borrowed New Moon from her and fuck , the weather was so hot. The plastic cover melted in the hot sun. Now I have to purchase a new copy for her. New Moon, hard cover, little brown book publisher. Zzz sorry Princess .

Yea, and I went shopping. Fuck. Shopping there was both risky and thrilling. In Malaysia, you never know when is it a branded replica. So it takes keen eyes and touching of the texture and shit like that. I mean, she will know her brands better than I do so.. I will shop for her in Singapore instead. There were a few pretty pieces though. But the size and the idea of risking, Singapore please. Lol, Takashimaya is there for a good reason. If you don't get what I mean, drop by their DVD stores and get them to let you read their subtitles. Taking localization to a whole new level, MALAYSIA, TRULY ASIA.

I was actually looking for Havaianas and a nice pair of aviator. None caught my attention but instead I got these :

Grass Jeans jeans, long sleeves shirt and belt
Fred Perry pink polo
Zoo York berms
Paul Smith shoes

EVERYTHING , under $175. ARGH! THIS IS CRAZY ! Anyway, no pictures taken. Left my USB port in Mediafreaks.

And you know whats the best of all? A teeny weeny bit of me suspected that she actually missed me. Lol, long distance calls, messages. "Un-angry" whining and asking when will I be home. Awwww.

Thats all for my weekends! Work and dinner date tomorrow! ENJOY PEOPLE!
